LOTD: Attending Maria's Baptism

Hello there loves! It's been a couple of days that I haven't posted anything on my blog. I've been busy with work plus some kinda mommy duties for the weekend. Anyway, when I woke up today and checked my blog, there's a new follower on the list. Proud to say that I'm being followed by CHARRY of EYE CANDY. She's one of my fave top bloggers in the country! That gives me the mood now to post a new article today. :)

December 8th, it's Mama Mary's Immaculate Concepcion. We were also invited to attend a baptismal event, Yale's ninang Tel Agustin (wife of Ato Agustin) is one my college friends and their 2nd child, Ayesha Karelle will be welcomed in God's grace. My husband took some photos of the baptismal rites and I wasn't able to get the copies yet, so I'll just share some of the pics I took from my phone. Actually, those are just mine and my son's outfit. LOL!

Fresh Water Pearls, another Birthday Gift

Another birthday gift that I received this year, from a colleague/friend Debbie. It's an addition to my growing pearl collection. But this time, it's a fresh water pearl bracelet.

She got this from Kultura at SM Dept Store

PEARLS...My Best Accessory Buddy

Hi there! Sorry if I haven't created a post for quite some time now. I've been very busy with coordinating a birthday party. Yeah, I'm also a party planner, freelance. :)

Since I'm planning for a Modern Barbie Themed Birthday Party for my client's daughter, I was able to fantasize a world of pearls. And when I got home yesterday morning, I checked on my box of accessories and most of them were actually pearls! Yay!

I don't know why and how I have collected several pieces of pearl accessories. But they are not the expensive ones, haha! Just some sort of fashionable pearl necklaces and bracelets. When I was still single, my mom always tell me not to wear pearl earrings 'cause it's a bad tradition for single women. Well that's the only wearable thing that I can have (casual to formal).

Some of my pearls were gifts from family and friends. The 1st on my collection is a piece of plain pearl necklace/choker from my mom. So far, I have 3 necklaces and 5 bracelets - all in different colors and designs.

Well for me, Pearls are must haves for us girls. Whether you're single or married, pearls are wearable from casual to formal, from office to cocktails. And I admit, I will definitely add more to this. :)

MATERNITY CLOTHES - Not Just for Preggies!

Who says that maternity clothes are just for preggies? Not me!

After giving birth, I almost thought that my maternity clothes don't have use anymore (or by this period that I don't want to get pregnant again yet). When I got the job for an IT company, we are required to wear office clothes...means that I have to purchase more blouses, dresses, slacks. But after checking on my closet, I came across my maternity clothes and it just turned to be as nice as office wear.

Look at this blouse that I got from Havin' A Baby. It's a steal for only Php 450.00 (it's actually on sale)!

It's a purple light satin blouse and it's perfect as an office wear, I just matched it with a black leggings and a purple strap wedge (Matthews by CMG). Sorry if I wasn't able to took a shot of the wedges. :(
Anyway, for it not to look too dull, I wore a necklace from Forever21 (it's a gift from a friend in Canada) and wore light make up with a pink shade of lipstick from Sophie. Sophie's got a nice selection of lippies at a very affordable price! It's really a steal! Actually, this lipstick tastes and smells like chocolate! hahaha!
