BLOW DRIER, A Must For My Rebonded Hair

Hi again ladies! How's your week? It's almost summer and I bet you are all dying to have an enjoyable vacation! Well, for me...Summer season means a lot of things to do. It's another preparation again for my son and mom's birthday party. :)

Anyway, two weeks ago, I got my hair rebonded again. Just to share, I have a naturally curled hair so I need a lot of maintenance for that. I can't go out of the house with a wet hair 'cause that for sure give me a mess! Haha! So I need to make sure that it's all dried up before heading anywhere!

That's it! :)

Review: MAYBELLINE Clear Smooth All-in-One Foundation

Hi there again ladies! It's mid-week and I'm on my rest day mode since we have to change our shifts and days off. Kinda having some sleep problems and I only get around 4-5 hrs of sleep for the past 3 days. Gotta try getting more sleep starting tomorrow!

Anyway, here's another product review and it's about the newest powder foundation that I have recently tried.

For the past two weeks, I've been resting my face from liquid foundations. So I tested Maybelline's Clear Smooth All-in-One Foundation. I've tried it dry instead of having the sponge wet.

I just purchased the refill since they don't produce sample sizes

Shade is Nude Beige

It comes with a sponge applicator that can be used dry or wet

And here's my verdict:

PRO's:

- very affordable at only Php 199 (US $ 5) for the regular packaging and Php 149 (US $ 4) for the refill
- available locally at Watson's or any SM Supermarket and department store
- it's a drugstore brand so you can purchase it over the counter and very easy to find
- coverage is good enough if you want to wear just very light make up

CON's:

- there's no sample size so you have to purchase the refill instead if you want to test it first
- quite powdery
- in my two weeks of using it, I had some "break outs"

WILL I REPURCHASE?

- Well, for some reasons this product gave me some break outs so I won't be buying it again. I'll try to look for another powder foundation that will suit my skin.

Have you tried this product too?

NOTD: DIY Polka Dotted Nails

How's your weekend so far? After getting a hair rebond, I tried another DIY nail stamping by using a white nail art pen. Simple dots design and I know I wanted to try more!

Hmmm, now I'm craving to try more nail art designs.

My Valentine's Day Gifts

This year's V-day, I didn't receive a bunch of roses, or any kind of flowers. But I received something practical instead, something that I can use for work and something that's fashionable! Well, my boys gave me a pair of wedge sandals from PRIMADONNA.

One more thing that I got is a bracelet from my mom. It's not an ordinary one though, it has St. Benedict's medal. He's a saint known for protecting people.

How about you? What have you got this Heart's Day?

Trying Out A Little Bit of Nail Art

I am good in Visual Arts during my high school years, that I'm aware of. I usually join art contests in school like poster makings. But after a couple of years, I wasn't able to practice my talent in drawing anymore. Of course, I do some stuffs like gift wrapping, party themed decors, etc. One thing I wanted to learn is doing nail art. Oh well, I should have the right tools.

Tried out a little bit of nail art, well I think I can't consider it as nail art though:

I used a nail art pen I bought from Watsons for only Php 33

Well, I would need a lot of practice. I mean a lot! :)

EYEBROW THREADING at Nail-a-Holics Spa

Kung Hei Fat Choi! Gong Xi Fa Cai! Happy Chinese New Year everyone! Since our family doesn't really celebrate this occasion, we opted to go out and have our early V-day date with Yale. So I decided to have my brows shaped again. :)

It's actually my second time to have it done at Nail-a-holics Spa in SM Pampanga and they did it very well.

my blurred picture, sorry :(

my Yale running inside the branch

Their eyebrow threading only costs Php 180 and you'll definitely get a great service while relaxing on their comfy sofa! :)

Review: ETUDE HOUSE Eye and Lip Make Up Remover

How are you ladies? Well, it has been a stressful week for me at work. A lot of assessments and stuffs. So while I'm on off this weekend, I'll be posting some thoughts as much as I can.

Another review from one of my favorite Korean cosmetics shop, ETUDE HOUSE Eye and Lip Make Up Remover. And yeah, it's another make up remover that's a must for everyone.

Nice clear bottle packaging, the blue colored liquid is oil and the clearer one is water
so it's actually oil and water based.

you have to shake it before you use it and apply some amount in a cotton ball or cotton squares

after removing my lipstick and eye make up

PRO's:

- available locally at any Etude House branch
- affordable at Php 198 per bottle, around US $4
- not oily since it's half oil and half water based
- removes eye and lip make up thoroughly
- no awful smell

CON's:

- might always run out of stock :(

Will I repurchase?

- ABSOLUTELY!

'til then!

THE FRENCH BAKER'S PARISIAN Macarons

This weekend, I got a chance to try French Baker's Parisian Macarons. Well, I've tried them before when hubby and I bought a pack of three in their SM Megamall branch. It's for Php 149 for 3 pcs. But now, they sell them for only Php 32 per piece! Very affordable and delicious too!

Flavors:

Raspberry
Pistacio
Chocolate
Mocha
Rose Scented

Affordably sweet! This will always be in my weekend cheat! :)

NOTD: BLUEBERRY Nails

My nails for the week were colored by Caronia's Blueberry polish. It's so love!

Lovin' the color! :)

FRENCH Macarons by SOPHIE'S MOM

My French macarons addiction started this year. As I am so addicted with Red Velvet cupcakes from Sophie's mom, hubby also discovered that they're selling macarons too! So I tried and they're really delicious!

Heavenly yummy!
I've tasted three flavors: Strawberry, Mango and Blueberry

They have a cute box!

Their macarons costs only Php 40 each. You can buy them at their SM North EDSA (The Block), SM Megamall and Makati branches!

My VALENTINE Mood Board

Happy Love Month everyone! Well, this month's color incorporates Valentine's Day. I've seen a lot of red, pink and white colored balloons in the pantry and I was thinking that they are launching Cupid's month. Well, here's my mood board for this month:

Alright, I've been so craving about these French Macarons. So this month, I'll be splurging on them instead of chocolates. Of course, a red lipstick with blue undertone will be perfect too! Sexy lacey black top, pearls and a candy cane nail art will also give some lovin' look! :)

What's your mood board for this month?

'til then!
