My Newest Additions from MAC

I went to Rustan's Shangri-La this afternoon and I was able to check the new look of their make up haven. :) But before I went down to their place, I e-mailed them first to check if they have the products I need to buy.

Here's their email:

I'm checking on Mac Fix + which is a solution for the face. "An aqua-spritz of vitamin and minerals, infused with a calm-the-skin blend of green tea, chamomile, cucumber, topped off with the fresh, natural, energizing scent of Sugi. Adds radiance, finishes makeup. Spray it on. Skin drinks it up!" - from the Mac website.
I decided to look for this product since it's a nice necessity for every working woman to refresh and rehydrate our face. :) According to the reviews, it is very refreshing to the skin.

The next thing I asked about was their Mac lipstick in Heroine. It's a bluish-purple shade. Well, I think I'm being a purple fanatic now since my ipad and iphone cases were all in purple color! haha! So there, I got a reply from their specialists and they have the products I need with the corresponding prices:

Mac Fix + 100 ml - Php 900.00 (I was shocked 'cause the one that I saw on their website was only 30ml for $ 10.00, so I think I got it in a much lower price.)

Mac Lipstick in Heroine - Php 1000.00

Here's the items I recently got from them:

                                                                   My shopping bag :)

                                                            Mac Fix+ in 100ml bottle

                                                               Mac lipstick in Heroine

                                                               Wearing my new lippie! :)

Spent a total of Php 1,900.00 for these but I know it's totally worth it. Fix+ is really refreshing when sprayed to the face, I use it before going to sleep and before applying make up. I am really satisfied with the purplish shade of my new lippie! :)

Til my next make up shopping! xoxo

I'm A Kikay Mom!

My make up hobby started way back in college, but my make up collection started to explode on 2009. I'm not a professional make up artist, but I have attended seminars and personality development workshops. I love painting my face! :)

Just a bit of my make up collection, I bought a personal make up train case for Php 1,650.00 in zebra print by Legally Vain.

                                                                    Isn't that so pretty? :)

                                                                    It has a velvet interior...

Here are some of my pretty-fying weapons. lol!

Some of the make ups I recently bought were not yet included in this photo. I will try to check my collection again and throw away the old (expired ones if I have). I think I need to purchase new lipstick shades and eye shadow palettes. :)

My 88 color palette, I got it from Doll face cosmetics for only Php 850.00

My Bobbi Brown brushes in set of 24! :)

Putting make up isn't as easy as one, two, three...but it's not so hard as well. You just have to learn the basics and you're good to go. One thing that you have to remember when buying cosmetics: Don't sacrifice the quality with the price. Not all affordable cosmetics can give you a look that you want to achieve. And not all pricey make ups will give you a goddess look! Try to invest on make ups that you usually use everyday. Some make ups contains Lead which is bad for our health. If you have a sensitive skin, test the product first before buying it. Nobody wants to end up paying for a derma. Read blogs, articles, try to go to the website of the product you're looking for and see if there are reviews. Positive reviews gives us impressions that these products are good enough. But still, go for the product that suits you, your budget, your lifestyle.

Remember, make ups do have shelf life too! So check them once in a while. Don't stock up on too much make up that you end up throwing away after several months. Be realistic! :)

MATERNITY CLOTHES - Not Just for Preggies!

Who says that maternity clothes are just for preggies? Not me!

After giving birth, I almost thought that my maternity clothes don't have use anymore (or by this period that I don't want to get pregnant again yet). When I got the job for an IT company, we are required to wear office clothes...means that I have to purchase more blouses, dresses, slacks. But after checking on my closet, I came across my maternity clothes and it just turned to be as nice as office wear.

Look at this blouse that I got from Havin' A Baby. It's a steal for only Php 450.00 (it's actually on sale)!

It's a purple light satin blouse and it's perfect as an office wear, I just matched it with a black leggings and a purple strap wedge (Matthews by CMG). Sorry if I wasn't able to took a shot of the wedges. :(
Anyway, for it not to look too dull, I wore a necklace from Forever21 (it's a gift from a friend in Canada) and wore light make up with a pink shade of lipstick from Sophie. Sophie's got a nice selection of lippies at a very affordable price! It's really a steal! Actually, this lipstick tastes and smells like chocolate! hahaha!

So there, one of my office wears. I'll post more pictures of my fab office wears soon!

SHOPPING - Every woman's world

So here I am, creating a blog about shopping. Yes, this is our so-called: WORLD! :)

Every woman has an obsession. Believe it or not, this is all about shopping. From clothes, shoes, bags and of course, make ups!

Who could ever resist the satisfaction that these things brings us? NONE! That's the reason why I sometimes hate going to the malls, if it's not payday. 'Cause I'd definitely drool. haha! Hubby's credit card charges were mostly from my purchases. haha! Thank him that he doesn't object whenever I ask him to buy me such addictions.

I'm a BAGaholic, that's were I put most of my extra dime. Extra, 'cause I would only buy if I know I have already stocked up on food, diapers, milk. Yes, I'm in-charge of those. haha! When payday comes, hubby is the one in-charge of all the bills, house funds, etc. I'm in-charge of the household stocks (food, soaps, etc.), baby's milk, diapers, bath and body needs. But of course, I'm still the one taking care of the entire budget and savings. But I only limit myself to an ultimate SPLURGE once a month! :)

Since I just started this blog, I can't post the things I bought before. I'm planning to post pictures and prices of the stuffs here. I think, my 1st splurge after creating this blog will be on the next payday, just a week from now (wink). So just wait and check for my purchases. :)
